There’s plenty for children to do, on site and nearby
The kids will love running wild and getting up close and personal with nature; getting to know the animals, or updating the info board with the wildlife they have seen!
With eighteen acres of private meadows and woodland to explore, there is plenty of space to burn energy. We have both indoor and outdoor play areas, and our rustic games barn is perfect for a rainy afternoon. Adults can curl up on the sofa with a cup of coffee whilst the kids play. Cook up a feast on the BBQ or in the Dutch oven over the fire pit, and enjoy a candlelit family meal. Our cottages are child-friendly, and we provide stair gates, cots and high chairs as standard.
There are tonnes of local attractions to keep the kids happy, including beautiful beaches, adventure parks and outdoor activities.
We also offer a whole-site booking option for larger family gatherings. The four cottages include 10 bedrooms with 19 beds, and our site lends itself to multi-generational family get-togethers, with plenty for all the family to enjoy.
Please note that Tangled Bank is a quiet site, with a no noise policy after 10pm. Tangled Bank is a working farmstead and children must be supervised at all times for their own safety.

Feed the alpacas and search for eggs for breakfast. Make new friends at fireside gatherings. Laze in a hammock, spot wildlife in the woods or delve through the games trunk. Cook up a smoke-licked family feast in the Dutch oven, count the stars as night falls, enjoy a glass of something lovely in the hot tub as the sun sets over the valley.
